Whilst in Bond street trying to find something to eat can be difficult as there is so much choice and variety! eeeekkkkk help me! also it doesn’t help being a busy Saturday lunch hour! and actually that day it was chucking it down! I was like in hurricane london well not quite lol!

I think it’s good to go for something your gut tells you! I wanted something fresh, tasty and on the healthy side and so did my friend too, phew.

We went round to discover the places and when we came across Comptoir my friend said she’s seen it before and has always wanted to try it, I didn’t mind as it totally fitted my bill and the fact I love Lebanese food was an extra bonus. Before entering the restaurant I liked the bright red chairs mixed against the blue and white geo printed table, pretty cool.

When you walk in your are welcomed with an array of mixed salads, mezze bits, pastries, flat breads, frittatas etc in the fridge department that all looked really fresh and delish, yum yum yum! and to the left there is a wall full of produce a bit like being in a sort of Lebanese deli.

Around the place there is a lot of retro large prints on the wall and little added extras they around the place to, the harrisa paste tin that the cutlery sits in and the authentic objects too. The decor was a mixture of east meets west and modern with the old which worked well.

My friend and I ordered the large falafel & Fattoush salad and it was large! I did eat like a horse! it included from what I can remember Fattoush, falafel, lentil salad, hummus, pita, pickled chillies and that’s all I can remember but there was a little more. We also ordered a mix veg frittatas which came with salad. This was really tasty and plentiful. I did eat quite a lot that day maybe the frittata wasn’t needed but my friend does have a habit of over ordering!

I really don’t know why I took the photo after I finished my meal! don’t ask & sorry!

I would come here again as the food was quite tasty however the service was really slow and my friend and I couldn’t understand why? as most of the food has already been made especially what we ordered.

When I visited there website I realised it’s a chain so there’s a few around, however it didn’t give off the feeling like it was a chain.
