Wait, hold up a no bake ‘Millionaires’ slice?

Yes, you heard right.

No it doesn’t contain caramel but peanut butter as the filling.

Not only is it no bake, it’s also healthier too. There is no butter, and a reduced amount of sugar and calories compared to the original Millionaires slice. If you love peanut butter then you will love this. These are very rich but also delicious so you will probably not be able to eat the whole slice in one go. These are really easy to make and make the perfect sweet treat.

I used runny peanut butter but you could use normal peanut butter, you may have to heat it up in the microwave to loosen it up slightly.

No Bake 'Millionaires' Slice

A rich alternative to Caramel slice
Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

Base

  • 150 g Oat flour
  • 40 g Melted Coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup

'Caramel' layer

  • 250 g Peanut butter
  • 120 g Maple syrup

Topping

  • 150 g Dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • Line a tin with parachment paper, I used a loaf tin but a small baking dish would be fine. In a food processor, grind your oats until it resembles flour consistency.
    2. In a bowl add the melted coconut oil and oat flour and mix to combine.
    3. Press down in a lined tin and smooth out.
    4. Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup until combined and spread across the oat layer. Leave to set in the fridge or freezer just until it becomes slightly set.
    5. Pour the chocolate layer over the peanut butter layer and sprinkle on sea salt if you fancy. Leave to set in the fridge until the chocolate sets.
    6. Once set slice into bars and enjoy!
