{"id":907,"date":"2013-05-12T17:45:48","date_gmt":"2013-05-12T17:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/loveeatsleepfood.com\/?p=907"},"modified":"2013-06-13T21:10:23","modified_gmt":"2013-06-13T21:10:23","slug":"crunchy-peanut-and-chocolate-bars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loveeatsleepfood.com\/?p=907","title":{"rendered":"Crunchy peanut butter and chocolate bars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I don&#8217;t know if you know but I have a little soft spot for good old peanut butter&#8230;I think it taste brill on toast in sweet things and uhm I don&#8217;t think there is anything else but yehhhhhhh it&#8217;s yummy!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I got slightly excited when I seen this recipe so gave it a go!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I thought out of all my family my brother <strong>might <\/strong>be the one who would like this the most, but no he&#8217;s so weird and fussy! he didn&#8217;t like it, surprisingly my dad did and everyone at work did. I do think it needed something extra maybe a bit of cinnamon or mixed spice orrrrrrrrr maybe caradamon just for a bit of extra flavour, hmmm next time I will add some spice to make it nice! so yumprintitem=\"3\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/4 cup - granulated sugar<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"4\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tbs - vanilla extract<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"5\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/2 cup (heaped)- creamy peanut butter<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"6\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 1\/4 - cups all purpose flour<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"7\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/2 tsp -  baking soda<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"8\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">6 to 7 ounces - dark or semi-sweet chocolate, roughly chopped (I used 100g)<\/li>\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-method-section\" yumprintsection=\"1\">\t\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-subheader\">Instructions<\/div>\t\t\t<ol class=\"blog-yumprint-methods\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"0\">1. Preheat the oven to 175\u00b0C and line an 8\" baking tray with baking paper.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">2. Melt the butter in a large microwavable bowl and leave it to cool, once cooled and the egg, sugars, vanilla and stir so it's all combined, stir in the peanut butter and then add the flour, baking soda and then stir in the chopped chocolate.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\">3. Spread the mixture into the baking tray and smooth the top. Bake for 20 mins but check if it's set, use a cake test and check if it's clean.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\">4.
