They are crumbly, buttery and just totally yummy. I had to get the recipe and when I did I have been making them ever since. They are also a favourite of my parents, my aunt, ooooo work colleagues and friends (who like raisins etc) ok so most people do seem to like them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The great thing about these bars are not that hard to make and are also eggless.<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">100g - ground almonds<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">100g - caster sugar<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"4\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">Pinch Salt<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"5\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">410g - jar mincemeat<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"6\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">50g - flaked almonds<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"7\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">Icing sugar for dusting<\/li>\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-method-section\" yumprintsection=\"1\">\t\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-subheader\">Instructions<\/div>\t\t\t<ol class=\"blog-yumprint-methods\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"0\">1. Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C. Grease and line a rectangle baking tray or 8\" square tine.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">2. In a medium bowl add the flour, butter, ground almonds, caster sugar and salt. Rub the butter into the flour until it resembles crumbs.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\">3. In the baking tray tip about \u00be mixture into the base of the lined tin and spread it out well and then press it down very firmly.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\">4. Spread the mincemeat in an even layer over the top. (this can be quite tricky as it sticks to the base when spreading!) scatter the remaining mixture over the top.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"4\">5. Bake for 35 minutes, then scatter the flaked almonds, then put it back in the oven for another 5-10 mins or until the topping is a light golden colour.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"5\">6. Remove the traybake from the oven and leave it to cool in the tin.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"6\">7.
